Winter exhibition: a new fairytale at the summit
This winter promises to tell the story of new objects inspired by nature: fauna, flora and atmospheric elements. Armel Soyer's secret is a surprising scenography, this time drawn from the wonderful world of the fairy tale "Peau d'Âne", which will serve as a dreamlike backdrop for the presentation of two new artists:
Christophe Boulanger, whose "tattooed" wood allows sculpted forms to express themselves with as much lightness as singularity, evoking a beast's skin with which the fair maiden would adorn herself, or the mists rising from the valley floor.
Alexandra de Garidel offers us an ode to nature and vanities, with a delicate collection of tableware, mirrors and lamps developed with Italian silversmith Bernard Delettrez. Fabulous little bestiaries in precious materials: turned wood, bronze and red travertine.
The skills and creativity of these two new artists broaden the Gallery's horizons, as it continues to resonate with, admire and be inspired by nature's most accomplished offerings.
