Pierre Bonnefille

Pierre Bonnefille is a French artist, painter, designer, and Master of Art with a unique and poetic approach. Born in 1958 in Saint Quentin in northern France, he has been living and working in Paris since 1985.

Materials, colors, and light are inseparable in the work of Pierre Bonnefille. The artist creates his own materials and textures, made of mineral powders, limestone, lava, marble, or earth, natural pigments, and metallic powders. As a true explorer, Pierre Bonnefille draws his inspiration from colors borrowed from nature and architectural references such as Venice, Pompeii, or Kyoto.

Pierre Bonnefille creates color palettes from the earth and materials he collects, analyzing their colorimetric structures. The intensity, color, and movement of light continually offer a new interpretation of the colors and textures created by Pierre Bonnefille, giving them a unique identity.

Pierre Bonnefille's unmatched expertise in his wall compositions and furniture pieces has contributed to numerous projects worldwide for the past 30 years. He has collaborated on private projects and for institutions and luxury brands such as Cartier, Hermès, or Loro Piana, among others. Pierre Bonnefille's international reputation has been established through major interventions in Europe (Paris, London, Switzerland, Italy), Asia, and the United States.
